ISO 9001:2000 for Design and Manufacture of PVC Pipe and Fabricated Fittings. Freedom Plastics was the first Pipe and Fittings manufacturer to receive the ISO 9001:2000 certification at its Janesville, Wisconsin, facility for the design and manufacture of PVC pipe and fabricated fittings. In August of 2006 Freedom Plastics was audited by CCAS and successfully passed re-certification. "The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was established in 1947 and is (currently) an association of approximately 149 National Standards Bodies, which each represent their own country. ISO employs a system of Technical Committees, Sub-committees and Working Groups to develop International Standards. Besides the National Standards Bodies, ISO permits other international organizations that develop standards to participate in its work, by accepting them as Liaison members. 	American Society for Testing and Materials(ASTM) is one of the largest voluntary standards development organizations in the world.
	NSF International is an independent, nonprofit organization committed to public health, safety and the protection of the environment. The NSF mark is recognized for its value in international trade around the world and is respected by regulatory agencies at the local, state and federal levels. NSF provides Freedom Plastics with third party conformity assessments to ASTM standards and materials testing.
	Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (U.L.) is an independent, not-for-profit product safety testing and certification organization. Our C900 and C905 products are certified by U.L. as being in compliance with AWWA standards for these types of products.
	American Water Works Association (AWWA) is an international nonprofit scientific and educational society dedicated to the improvement of drinking water quality and supply.
	Factory Mutual Certification (FM) is an independent, third-party, organization offering product certification. The FM APPROVED mark assures customers that a product or service has been objectively tested and conforms to the highest national and international standards.
