Cartridge System Filtration

Freedom Plastics manufacturers a wide variety of cartridge filtration systems.

Our cartridge filtration housings are made of non-corrosive PVC or CPVC material. These filter housings will never rust or corrode, eliminating the possibility of contaminating the process stream.

Our filter housings are rated for 150 psi operating pressure at 73 degrees Fahrenheit with a 2:1 designed safety factor. Durable PVC or CPVC construction is suitable for indoor or outdoor use in some of the harshest chemicals, including strong acids and bases and seawater.

Freedom’s cartridge housings accept standard 20", 30" & 40" lengths for 222, DOE (double-open-ended) & 3M #740 filtration cartridges. The standard piping connection is 2" NPT; various sizes of NPT, flanged, spigot or Victaulic groove are also available.

The hand removable ThreadLok™ cover and Slip-Fit™ cartridge holder make cartridge change out fast and easy, requires no tools and minimizes downtime. Cartridges can be replaced and the filter back in operation again in minutes.

To reduce system downtime, the Freedom Slip-Fit™ Cartridge Assembly offers easy installation and quick removal and replacement of filter media. A double O-ring base provides a positive gasket seal while allowing for quick-release during removal. Order a second cartridge assembly to reduce changeover time to just seconds. Preload the second cartridge assembly for a quick installation, removing and reloading the used cartridge assembly off-line.
